
It’s been a lifetime since my last food post, so it feels really great to finally share photos of food, and good food at that. If I were asked to choose a theme for my life lately, the theme would easily be about coming to terms with change. And, doing more of my own cooking is certainly a change that I’ve long been striving for. I share this post with much delight. Not one ingredient was heated in the microwave, folks, and I even made apricot-lemon dressing.
I made Nectarine and Fennel Salad from a recipe by Sara of Sprouted Kitchen. Delicious! I followed the recipe to a “T” via my iPad. After this bit of cooking success, I’m inspired to buy the accompanying cookbook. But, I can’t decide whether to buy the ePub version, or hardcover copy for only $2 more. I’m leaning towards the ePub version, but I think that perhaps following a paper recipe would be easier… In any case, I’m excited to do more of this home-cooking thang. :)
